we did what made us happy
13 year old girl ran away with 19 year old boyfriend. The girl said that she has no regrets. The girl ran away because her mum had scolded and slapped her as she had mutilated herself again. And she also tired of schooling. She was a bright student, the secondary 1 express student scored mostly A and B for her eight subjects, including her higher Chinese for her first semester this year. She stole $2000 in cash from her mum before she ran off. She and the guy discarded their old clothes and shoes and bought new ones, they also dyed their hair and she got new ear piercing and a tattoo of a flying horse on her ankle so that other people will not recognize them. They watched movies and dined at Japanese restaurants and they total spend $1600 within five days. During the past few days they spend their night at tampines void decks. When they were found the girl was been caught first then the guy ran off, he called her when he was on the ledge. Then she was led by the officers to that floor but she couldn’t get to see her boyfriend due to he fell off the ledge but landed on the lift pack set up. The reason that the guy ran off because he was tired of military life. They were arrested for attempted suicide.
The article appears to me because I was wondering why they will ran away from home.

I would like to ask the writer will ns punish the guy for not going back to report?
If I was in-charged I will send them for counseling after the incident.

Thai drought may hit proce of rice
10June 2010
The world’s largest rice exporter, Thailand is facing major losses to its next crop of rice and a water crisis because of the worst drought in nearly two decades.
There is only a little impact on Singapore due o Singapore imports as much as 80 per cent of its rice from Thailand but importers here are not worried about supply shortages. Mr Andrew Tan, who is the association, says there are enough safeguards in place here to ensure sufficient supple of rice. Singapore also had other suppliers. Aside from Thailand, the rest of the rice in Singapore is imported from countries such as Vietnam, Myanmar and china. Last year, trade promotion body IE Singapore announced that it would enhance its rice supply monitoring system to counter the possibility of a price increase caused by shortfalls in imports from Thailand.
This article appears to me because we need to eat rice everyday so I wonder what happen to the rice. Is it will increase the selling price?

I would like to ask the writer so will Singapore continue to import Thailand rice?
If I would in charge I don’t think I can do anything.
